Home Organizing Tips

Think outside the box

Don’t buy storage containers until after you have sorted and purged, otherwise you could end up buying the wrong types of containers for your needs and end up with a clutter of empty boxes.

Home plate (or bowl or basket)

Keep a plate, bowl or basket on a table or ledge near your front door as a drop-off spot for your keys, cellphone — whatever small items you are unlikely to unload when you walk in the door. If you make it
a habit, you will never be frantically searching for those little items again.

Interior Decorating Tips

Colour chameleon

Thanks to different lighting, colours in retail outlets look can look much, much different than they do in your home. Always try to get a fabric or paint swatch from the store so you can take it home to examine under your home’s lighting conditions.

Home Staging Tips

Make a grand entrance

The first impression that buyers have of the interior of your house is your entryway, so make sure it's as inviting as possible. Store away shoes (but don't overfill the hall closet!), up the light bulb wattage and make sure the floor is spic'n'span.
